heading to the mountain

Last Wednesday, we headed to the mountains, just like Christ, to listen to God and to pray. Every once in a while, it´s good to get away and get some clear direction. Sometimes we get so busy with our lives that we don´t take time to really listen to God and allow Him to speak to us. We spent a great time listening, praying, and spending time in the Bible. It is very clear that this women´s group is God´s will. It is so important to know this because when troubles come, and they WILL come, that we will continue to meet because of the conviction we have from Christ.
This is the place where we stayed in the mountains. Who wouldn´t find God here!!!

Today, we headed to the precario neighborhood just to spend time with the ladies. Marta, a woman in our group, was telling us about Elena, another neighbor and part of our group, about how she doesn´t have any food. She is a single mother and can´t find work because no one will take care of her kids (if you knew her kids, you would understand why!!) Anyway, we had the opportunity to bless Elena with a few essentials to help her through this hard time.
