Well, my very favorite part of the weekend should be church but it's not! haha
Every Saturday morning, I go to the "ferria" which is the farmer's market. It's absolutely lovely, close to my house, and cheap. It's a social event, everyone knows everyone and gather to get their groceries. I save SO MUCH MONEY going to the ferria. I'm sorry, but I have to brag...For 5 colones, which is a little less than $10, today I bought...
-a large bunch of onions
-15 limes
-16 small bananas
-6 platains
-one small head of broccoli
-4 red chiles
-2 zuchinis
-a small pineapple
-6 tomatoes
-a bunch of cilantro
I'm sorry but you can't beat that!!! I do love Costa Rica...and Saturday mornings!

Lindsay, We saw your videos today. We are so proud of you. Hard to believe people live like tha, unfortunately, there are places like tha aas well in Puerto Rico. Your Mom cried reading one of your letters, and at the end of the service hands were laid on you parents for yoyu.; Yes there are nothing like the Mercados for fresh veggies and fruit and the price is awesome. You are where God wants you to be. Call if you get home for the Holidays, we are not going anywhere!

Hi Lindsay! We loved your videos! Especially the music. We listen to Habib Koite a lot. Actually went to see him play in Madison,Georgia this year. Never thought we would hear his music in church. Thanks!
You are in our prayers and we are so proud of you and what you are doing for the Lord in Costa Rica.
Love you lots,
Stewart and Linda
