Every other week on Thursday we have a leadership group. It is a great opportunity to invest in leaders in a neighborhood super close to the precario neighborhood. A family from the precario comes as well. It's exciting to invest well in them so that THEY will go to their family and friends and SHARE who Christ is and what He's doing. So often Christians keep the hope they have to themselves. Sometimes we're uncertain, scared, or just don't want to because it's uncomfortable. Please pray that these leaders will share the CURE for the worlds pain and suffering...JESUS.
This week we did dramas to bring the Bible to life...it was interesting...
Fransico, with the hat, comes from a very poor family. He never had the chance to learn to read. It's exciting to think of creative ways to teach him and others. He's eager to learn more and I think with a little more knowledge of Christ, he will have a huge impact on his friends at work and in the precario neighborhood. He is very humble but has a lot of fervor for Christ and helping others know him.
