this week has been super busy so i thought before i go to bed, i will catch you all up to date...Last Friday, we celebrated Mother's Day with the ladies we've been working with in the precario neighborhood. My friend from college, Jeanne, came and spoke about our "sisters" in Nepal. It was an opportunity to see what God is doing in the world, how BIG He is, and how we can pray for others around the globe. It was a shocking reality for many to think that someone had never heard of Jesus before in this country.
The ladies enjoyed TONS of food and fun, music and games. They all dressed up and enjoyed being served and pampered!
The ladies left feeling excited about not only keeping Christ for ourselves, but also about the importance of sharing Him with others. They talked about planning a mission trip here in Costa Rica to a tribe of indians whom still live in the jungle of Talamanca. It's neat to dream and see what God will do..WHO KNOWS!?!
It was lots of fun and tons of work. I'm grateful for God's provision though. Every single thing that we needed was donated and we had tons of left-overs. Our Provider proved His name's true once again...
