Well, as you read, we've had a furry intruder a few days ago. After putting out rat poison, I thought my problems where over.
Until last night...
My roomate sent me a message that said that she had SEEN the uninvited guest crawl our (SICK) KITCHEN COUNTER. Hungry? Me neither.
When I got home, she told me she'd seen the rat but was too scared to do anything. I put more poison out, and we waited in silence. Sure enough, about 15 minutes later, I hear this chomping noise. Sure enough, there's something in our EMPTY trash can! I sneek up...and SEE IT!!!!!! Mickey mouse is a bunch of LIES. Mice are disguisting in all aspects.
So what do you do? They didn't teach me this in mission's training! We did the only logically think. We throw a giant water bottle at it :) Not very well thought through, to say the least...
We ran to sleep at the owners house. The rat probably sleep peacefully in our beds.
The next day, I woke up in a super bad mood. I had barely slept in what I like to call "the human taco" of a matress. It's one of those matresses that caves in and eats the person who's sleeping in it. Anyway, we find no rat poison!! It ate the poison. But these rats aren't normal...they're like BIONIC or something...
Because, when I returned tonight, I thought the coast was clear, but noooooooo. Right outside our living room window, a furry friend.
I went LOCA. Crazy. I don't know if it was the lack of sleep or the lack of oxygen from lysoling the entire house, but I picked up the broom and took out my frustration on the rat. At this point, my dog was involved. It ran for the yard followed by me, the broom, and the dog. What a sight. It got away, but I'm thinking that it will consider twice before returning.
My one and only Christmas wish: NO MORE RATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
