Christmas Party 2012

The Christmas party in the Isla was so much fun! Thanks to God's provision for each of our needs, He provided gifts for each child, youth, and woman in our Bible Study and their families. We studied the details that God took care of in Jesus' life, even as a baby, and that He will do the same for us.

The kiddos had a great time, as we celebrated the end of year with games for everyone!

 

Helen, from our Bible Study, helped us organize fun games and try to keep some order!

 

We even had a few extra kids and moms who arrived unexpectedly, but we had just enough for everyone!

Thanks for Leo and Wendy for helping all day during the fiesta!

The ladies shared about what God has taught them this year and what they're thankful for. It was a blessing to hear about God's work in their lives this 2012.

It's Christmas so it's time for TAMALES!

We had two pinatas, one for the ladies and one for the kiddos. They were both about 7 lbs heavy with candy.

We're praying that God will open the doors with the youth next year! All the mom's are desperate to do something for their kids because of the rough neighborhood and problems in the area. Lizbet, left, dreams of being a youth group leader. We'll see what God has planned...
