getting back down to business:)

Finally, we went back to the Isla community this week. We've had quite a break because the kids have been out of school and the ladies have been busy with their little ones. It was encouraging to have all the ladies back together. It was also encouraging because we received a donation from a friend's church of nearly $300 for this year! We're so excited because this will help us with the children's ministry and retreats/special events throughout this year. Talking with the ladies gave us mixed feelings. It was great to hear them open up and be very transparent with us about where they are with God right now. It was discouraging because all the ladies have stopped going to church and feel far away from God. This is a great PRAYER requests, if you would pray. We feel a great honor and responsibility to work with these ladies through the power of the Word. We know the more these ladies are in the Word, the more they will grow:)
