This week we had the privilege of going to Carolina's house. Carolina, in the pink shirt, with Lilly above, is such a blessing to our Bible Study group. She opened up with the group this week about some problems she has with her mom and her past. She's had a tough life of poverty and having to grow up fast. She and her brothers and sisters even grew up for a couple of years in child services. But, she is now a mother of 2 and is one of the most bubbly, positive people you will ever meet. She's just someone you want to be around.
This week, after Bible Study, we went to her house to get to know the place and share empanadas:) Yummy! She taught me so much in a short two hours about GRATITUDE. She's so extremely proud of her home and her kids. What she has is very little, but you would have thought she had a palace by the expression on her face having us in her home. She was so generous as well. She gave me a smiley face air freshener for my car because her husband had gotten them free from a friend. When I drive around now, I look at the smiley face and I'm reminded to give THANKS and be content in what He has given me and what He has done!
