learning every day

When I (Lindsay) first came to Costa Rica, I was really concerned about what I was going to teach the community where I was serving. It was very important to me to give them everything I knew about the Lord so that they too could know Jesus like I know Him. Well, I've learned quite a bit in these last few years, and I'm definitely realizing that I have a ton to learn from OTHERS teaching ME. As we recognize the need for others to teach us, we have had the ladies teaching us from a devotional we've been giving to them, and it's going wonderfully.

Last week, Edith shared with us and we all learned a lot and had great discussion. I'm grateful that the women in our group have a desire to teach and have a desire to learn from God's word. It is such a blessing to see happen and to participate in weekly. Please pray that they would want to teach outside of the group, in the community as well, as they realize the need for Christ in the Isla community.
