visiting family and friends

Last week, I headed to Florida to spend a little time relaxing and catching up with family. It was such a great time, and we even had the chance to celebrate my Dad's birthday. It was very special to play with my nephews since they're growing up so fast. I'm always grateful for time with family!

Also, one of my best friends Jeanne, is heading off to do missions as well for one year. So, I combined the trip to make sure to spend some quality time with her before she leaves as well. God's sending us all over the globe! We had a great time in Washington DC, where she is currently living. I enjoyed reflecting on my own experience as being a missionary and giving her any wisdom that God has taught me in these 4 YEARS of missions! She will do great serving in Southeast Asia.
