Stephanie and Emily bless our friends at the Isla

 

It's always fun when we have people come and teach our Bible study in the Isla. Last week, we had Stephanie (green shirt) and Emily (red jacket) come from Minnesota and share with our group. Stephanie has a ministry in the states that equips women to disciple, and she also works with young women. Emily is one of the young ladies that Stephanie disciples. Emily taught the kids and Stephanie shared her testimony with the women. It was interesting to see how Stephanie and the women are from two completely different worlds and yet everyone from the Isla really understood and could identify personally with Stephanie's story.

 Here's an updated photo of our ladies group. We're a lot of fun:)

 Thank you, Stephanie and Emily, for blessing the kiddos and reminding these lovely ladies (and myself) that Jesus is our Heavenly Father and that we all share a commonality in this faith journey, even if we're thousands of miles away from our sister in Christ, living with the same struggles and many of the same experiences.
