This Thanksgiving was my first one EVER away from my family! It was so different, but as with most things in life, different isn't always bad...we had the opportunity to share our culture with our neighbor's family. They are such a blessing to us, so we made them Thanksgiving dinner, with all the fixins'...It was so funny listening to their questions...."And this, what is it?" "Do you put this on top?" "Is this dessert or for now?" All in all, it went well, and just as at home, we went around and told what we're thankful for...it was a good time to be thankful for friends and family!
We thought we wouldn't have enough food and I think you could've fed all of Costa Rica!!! Oops.
It tasted better than it looks, I promise. Though I'm not gonna lie, it's better when someone else makes it!! Someone else can cook next year...this is my one and only Thanksgiving when I'll cook everything!!
She figured it the turkey...and it all went fine!
My roomate, Susan, trying to figure out what to do with the bird...Being the vegetarian I am, I wasn't very helpful at all...She kept asking my questions like I would know...
