The Christmas Party in the Precario neighborhood was a success!! What a great time we had together playing games, eating delicious food, and learning! I have more pictures to come, I hope...they're on my roomate's camera...

The kids were so thrilled to get presents for Christmas and learn about a Savior born on Christmas day. It was a great day and we had MORE THAN ENOUGH presents so we'll give the rest to other precario families from other neighborhoods. Isn't that just like our God, to go above and beyond! Another blessing this week has been a visit from my mom. It's just a short glimpse of my life here but she got to visit with a lot of my friends here in Costa Rica...We had dinner last night with my friend Cinthya's family...It was great for Cinthya to practice her English and for mom to meet them. Cinthya is a girl who I'm discipling and her family has taken me in as their own! :)

We also headed to the Precario to give out Christmas stickers and allow mom to see my "office" more or less...The kids were happy to see us and showed us the toys they'd received from the Christmas party...We also went to Red Viva Wednesday for her to see what I do there as well!

Mom enjoyed meet all the kids and they practiced their English as well...Mom learned about how there are over 110 families in this neighborhood and over 200 kids...wow...

Soccer fun in the Precario. Soccer is a national obsession....

Giving out Christmas stickers to the little ones....

Mom got to meet Michelle, the women who mentors and disciples me. She's a huge blessing in my life and it was great to have mom meet here and have a few moments to talk in English!!!

And OF COURSE, she met Che...The trip would not be complete without my baby!!!!!!!!

And my neighbors who fixed us and incredible meal! My Gringa Mom and my Tica Mom!!

Got to run...We're headed to a coffee plantation so that mom can get a taste of Costa Rica!! Chao!
