I forgot to download these pictures. Two Wednesdays ago, my friend and I visited a local pastor's church to see his hydroponic garden. The photos below are of Don Gilbert and his garden.
Because of the network of food kitchens in which we are a part, we have funding to start our own garden as well. We're hoping to do one of two things 1) use the vegetables for our outing to the Red Light District, to feed those living in the streets 2) to sell the vegetables and use the money for ministry expenses.
Either way, I'm extremely excited to start this garden and only hope I have a green thumb!!
